Powerful automatic image mosaicking
Advantages
It is not just a pretty picture. It is important to create a wide field-of-view image while maintaining high resolution. A mosaic, a full representation of assembled images, provides a global perspective of a biological specimen without sacrificing resolution. Moreover, the quantitative analysis performed on this mosaic reveals more informative and unbiased information. On the other hand, estimating the average measurement from the sampled locations might lead to biased conclusion. imago provides you a powerful automatic mosaicking tool to create these mosaics.
Features
Simple to use
imago auromatically arranges images and estimates the optimal parameters for your images. All you need to do is to select multiple images that you would like to mosaic from imago's album viewer. If you have z-stacks, we will automatically create a projection image of each stack for you.
No high-precision, motorized stage is required
As long as there is enough overlapping area between the pair of images, imago's registration will create a mosaic automatically. If you collect images using motorized stage, we will surely take advantage of extra information (e. g. log file from a microscope) to speed up mosaicking.
Fast and effective blending
imago's innovative registration tool not only puts images together, but also blends abutting edges between the images while preserving the original data. The resulting large photo realistic mosaic is ready for further quantitative analysis.
Robust registration of images with scale variations
Mayachitra imago can handle up to 400% scale difference. For example, an image taken with 40x lens can be mosaicked with an image taken with 10x lens.
How it works
